This website and associated tools, such as the voter information and referral platform, is owned and operated by Meme2020 Limited Liability Company (hereinafter “Meme2020”, “Us”, “Our”, “We”) and we have a firm commitment to your privacy and Internet privacy in general. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors and users while they interact with the content and services on this site (www.meme2020.com, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and Meme2020 owned services only.  It does not apply to other websites to which we may link or to which you may be referred to. We collect personally identifiable information when you choose to use certain other features of the Site, including a) voter information assistance, b) consenting to receive email or text messages about upcoming elections or events, c) consenting to receive email or text messages about advocacy actions or d) participating in any social media interaction as part of the Site.  When you choose to use these additional features, we may require you to provide your “Contact Information” in addition to other personal information that may be required to complete a transaction.

While no computer system is ever completely secure, we believe the measures we have implemented reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved. Meme2020 permanently deletes the most sensitive user-submitted information, such as state ID or SSN numbers, two weeks after submission, if submitted. Other personally identifying contact information is stored by Meme2020’s vendor, MailChimp, whose privacy policy can be found here. In the case of a personal data breach, Meme2020 will notify individuals about potential threats within 72 hours after having become aware of it.

 

Affiliates and Business Transfers. We may share your information, including personal Contact Information with our parent, subsidiaries and or affiliates. We also reserve the right to transfer all such information: i) to subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of the Site, and or applicable database; or 2) in connection with a merger, consolidation, restructuring, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our interests and/or assets or other corporate change, including, during the course of any due diligence process.

If any user who receives an email from the Site would prefer not to receive such communications in the future, he or she can unsubscribe by following the instructions and link in the email. In addition, you may send an email to privacy@meme2020.com. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to implement your opt-out requests promptly, but you may still receive communications from us for up to ten business days as we process your request. Individuals who wish to invoke their right to be forgotten will be able to do so. Upon their request, individuals will have their information removed from Meme2020 and all partner data storage systems.

Please note however that even after you Opt out and or delete your Contact Information, we may retain and use certain fo your information where permitted by law to prevent fraud, collect and fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any legal investigations, enforce our user agreements and terms, and comply with legal requirements. If you have shared content or information through our Site with other users, such content or information may still be available to those other users if they have not also deleted it, closed their accounts, or also “opted out.”

The services being offered on the Site are not intended to be used by minors. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor without verified parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
